This is an amazing opportunity to come to the Highland Perthshire area and experience the art & music of Joanne and Foy Vance. Foy's reputation as a singer has raised rave reviews while his songs have already been covered by a variety of artists. His wife Joanne will feature at the Temple Gallery as the artist who inspires and influences Foy's music. There will be a preview of her work on October 22nd with a talk and live performance by Foy.The paintings on show have featured on Foy's studio album Hope and various single covers.

On the 23rd October Foy will play a full set with support from Dan Lyth. There are two types of ticket available for the night - one at £6 the other at £15. The £15 ticket includes sparkling wine and food throughout the evening. It will be an evening to remember.

And Dan Lyth too...What a treat two talented individuals in one night. Dan who has already supported Foy at King Tuts is the perfect precursor to Foy. Understated and subtle - his acoustic and electronic tones meander but then at times build to hints of the Cure and then back down to a world of Peter Broderick and King Creosote. 

This collection of gorgeously recorded tracks is simple yet hooky, lo-fi, playful and reflective. Autumn Sunday afternoons were made for this."
